Is Danny in Pop's doghouse? That's a serious question. Because I can't think of another reason to have our best 3 point shooter and 2nd best perimeter defender playing less minutes than a guy who only plays on 1 side of the court.
Does Pop even watch game tape? How does he stomach watching Belli getting torched time after time after time on defense, and it ain't like he hit 7 3's. In fact he would have to hit 10 to make up for his putrid defense. For Pop to preach defense and play Belli when he isn't hot and I mean super nova hot from three makes no logical sense at all.
Pop with the questionable bads tbh. I just don't know, how can someone defend him from this?

Overplaying Belinelli like he did Neal. I understand the first half but not the second half.
Atleast Neal makes big shots and forces defenders to focus on him, Beli passes up shots and drives aimlessly to pass 3 seconds after. Both were bad on D but Neal compensated it at least.
belli is playing way too many minutes i agree, but other than that pops been pretty solid
in fairness, neal most of the time had to guard point guards which he was unsuitable for, belinelli is being hided every time and yet it doesn't work. Also when neal wasn't making shots he wasn't playing, but when he was making them, he was a net positive on the floor, belinelli is a net negative regardless of him making shots or not, which is actually impressive and is something that should be studied.
There shouldn't be any "other than that's" this is the finals. Dude lost it when he pulled out Timmy last year, losing it again this year.
How can Pop yell at Danny or KL or anyone else for bad defense while he keeps Belli on the floor???
I think we're going to need Green and Kawhi to play 30+ mpg in this series for their defense.
That plus no Belli move CoJo up the rotation and put Belli dead last and I mean after Ayers I'd put him after Daye if I could.
