Leonard and LeBron have the exact same time on the court in the first half. Coincidence?![]()
catching up from 20 points down always takes a huge amount of energy .... Miamis run will come in the third, but everybody has to stay calm, Spurs need to continue to move the ball to tire them out even more. Then have one of our signature 4th quarter where the Spurs just put the hammer down ...

As long as the Spurs don't follow up the best half in Finals history with the worst half in Finals history, they should take Game 3.
Of course, anything is possible with Tony Brothers out there. Be ready for the refs to tighten this game up by the 4th quarter.
If Miami were up or tied it would be.. "James is GOD" I love this.. If Miami can't break the lead by mid 3rd you'll see someone fake something and the media will jump on that.. or Lebron will say, "Oh I tweaked something early but I played on"
If we keep a 15+ lead late into the third, if I were Spo, I'd pull the starters and save them for game 4... the Heat are an old team too. Saving LeBron is especially important, considering his cramp could play a part later in the series. Concede if it looks grim as a strategy... Pop style.
If we lose this game it will be a choke job of epic proportions tbh.
Im starting to like him.
I think the press conferences are great, he answers a lot of questions.
I cant say I know what he does behind doors...
Parker looked tired. I'm wondering if that injury is still bothering him.
Spurs need to stick with 2-way players in the 2nd half, don't blow this , tbh..no Bonner, no Belinelli..
If Tony's ankle is bothering him, don't push him too much..
Manu needs to relax, too, he was too out of control for the latter half of that quarter..
Make the Heat tired tbh... it'll help a lot in game 4.
Wow the NBA and espn really have there priorities twisted
I fear the Heat will get the calls in the third like the Spurs got in the first quarter ...
I'm sure you would love that but it's not going to happen
Can't let up.. No Belli, Green and Kawhi, ball movement, dumping it into the paint and attacking... exploit the open three on that drive and kick.. Lots of Diaw ball movement. Tiago and Bonner in limited minutes... maybe even baynes on birdman...
Indeed, but still wouldn't top 6., for obvious reasons... I don't think we could choke this, not even we could...
Hope Tony keeps swinging the ball and doesn't go for "FInals MVP" in the second half.
Hopefully the spurs hang on
Best Spurs half all season... probably up there with all-time halves, such a great offensive display.
Spurs just shot 75.8% from the field without dunking the ball once ...
edit: ok, Kawhi had one breakaway dunk, but thats it ...
2 quarters left. It was a positive sign that when the Heat did cut the game down to 14, the Spurs responded and extended it back to 21.
In reality though, the Heat scored 50 points this half. If the Spurs can score 40 more points then they will have 110. Can the Heat score 60 more after only scoring 50 AND shooting a high percentage; no they should not. So the Heat will probably cut into this but this is a very tall task, especially considering they are going against the top compe ion in the league.
On the flipside, the Spurs cannot afford to lose this, it would be devastating on another level. So hopefully they close this out and get the W, Go Spurs Go!
