I've heard this on the grape vine. Former Aussie captain Matt Nielsen to be added to coaching staff. Anybody heard anything?...

He was a moron as a player, terrible defender, y as too.

Had the displeasure of meeting him a few times as he has a bit to do with the Perth Wildcats in the NBL (Australian League). Thinks a lot of himself... he would have to "get over himself" before getting anywhere near the Spurs organization.
He did block Kobe once, though..

Really hoping they keep Chip and bring in Messina and demote Sean Marks.
Would love to see what Messina would bring to the coaching staff.
He basically destroyed the NBA, such an unlikeable y , playing as the 'star' of the biggest market team in Sydney. He also ed the Boomers teams of his era, so clearly a weak link who thought too much of himself and took shots aways from far better players and was also exposed on defence.
I wouldn't let him coach an Under 12s team.
