Did you watch it? It looks exactly like every comedy pushed out within the last 15 yrs. It looks ing terrible and I was really looking forward to this. The parts that weren't just a cheap throwback to the first looked awkward and uncomfortable as . That first exchange they have at the mental hospital made me cringe. How could yall have found this funny unless you're going off of nostalgia?
Yeah this trailer doesn't look promising. I doubt it will even come close to part 1.
Saw the trailer yesterday. I didn't really find any of it funny. In fact to me, Jim Carrey looks like Eric Christian Olsen who played Lloyd in the bad sequel. It's also going to take time for me to see Jeff Daniels as Harry again b/c all I see of him now is Will McAvoy from The Newsroom.
Yikes, that doesn't look as funny as I had hoped it would..
These dude are really old. I hope that gets worked into a few jokes, not just that it's been 20 years since the last one.
Also, the original dumb and dumber trailer wasn't that funny either. Nobody really knew what it was.

Agreed. They kept the best stuff out of it. Hopefully that's the case with this one.

Holy the Farrelly Brothers have put out garbage since the end of 2000. I still think Carrey will be awesome in this though. No more serious , now he gets to play the completely off the wall kind of character he played so masterfully in In Living Color, Ace Ventura, and Dumb and Dumber.
Except he's too old for that and regardless it's played out the same way Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell eventually got tiresome
Sandler was always annoying. Ferrell was only funny on SNL and Anchorman 1.
I'll give Carrey Ace Ventura 1, Dumb and Dumber, Truman Show, and Me, Myself and Irene
I'll give Sandler Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Waterboy, and Big Daddy
I'll give Ferrell Night at the Roxbury, Elf, Old School, Anchorman, and Talladega Nights
they've all been brilliant but this is going to be like that embarrassment Anchorman 2
If you ask me Carrey' funniest movies were Liar Liar, and Bruce Almighty.
Ferrell' funniest were The Step Brothers, Old School, and The Other Guys.
Carrey was GOAT level in Me, Myself and Irene.
