Nothing bad can come from this, what an awesome opportunity for him.
TWEET @realgm: Kawhi Leonard To Work With Tim Grover In Offseason (via @ShamsCharania) -- http://t.co/TyGHvD4B6y
I was wondering why Tim Grover was praising Kawhi on First Take... Turns out Kawhi will join his company in the offseason. To those who don't know who he is, he trained: Jordan, Kobe, Wade, etc.
Is this a good thing? Kawhi will be a freak of nature working with the best in the business. Only negative impact this can have on him is he'll have less time in the offseason to practice his shooting and dribbling. It's already bad enough Kerr is trying to take Chip Engelland from us, tbh

I'm not so sure. Kawhi is already a gym rat and surrounded by great coaches.
Kawhi's going 'roid & HGH, it's inevitable.
Think it is great for Kawhi !
That's some good company tbh
Hope you're wrong.
just curious..but WHY? if lebron and wade are (Clearly) on them, and its enhanced their careers 10fold, surely it would help Kawhi as well?
What kind of trainer is he exactly? He has an impressive resume of player clients, but is he a strength & conditioning guy or a skills-oriented basketball trainer? His website seems to indicate he does mostly injury rehabilitation and conditioning, but Kawhi is in pretty ing good shape as it is; the only thing he doesnt seem to have athletically is crazy out of the gym hops and that doesnt seem like something that happens over a summer. If it gives him better footwork and quickness Im all for it, but Id rather he spend the summer working on his handles, PnR ball handling, and jumpshot tbh.
I think he an help develop that explosive first step, as well as helping Leonard's vertical and lateral quickness. If Leonard can also gain just a bit more weight he's going to be almost unstoppable.
I don't know if he can improve his quickness, but if he gets bigger... RIP Lebron and KD
I am guessing strength, conditioning and some basketball skills.
Jordan didn't have any major injuries and Kobe too (before the 2013)
This won't be his only summer thing. He'll also be in the USA*Basketball camp.
