Over Belinelli? Yes.
Coach Nick of BballBreakdown with a truth bomb:
Over Belinelli? Yes.

Gary was useful in the finals last year, I forgot belinelli was even on the team until garbage time
Patty is much better, but ya, Belinelli was much inferior to Neal..
I'd take Bellineli's ball handling, playmaking and bad D over Neal's even worse D and shot chucking.

In December, sure.
In June, not so much.
He was vastly more effective than belenelli

that's coz you're re ed and can't admit that you were wrong.
I'm sure everyone feels Patty is superior to Neal. I've only said Belinelli was worse than him.
Patty has surprised the out of me. Huge, huge fan of him but I didn't think he had this in him in the NBA finals. Watching him pester LeBron on defense and knock down 3's is just amazing.
You've got me confused with someone else, man. My opinion's always been that they both suck.Gary Neal was fearless on offense, but some of the shots that he took.......

I think its safe to say that I'm very happy Gary Neal isn't a Spur still.
I can't remember a time Patty Mills has made me facepalm and I can't remember a time Gary Neal hasn't made me facepalm.
no i did not.
Somebody wrote an article (I'm sure it was probably posted in here) that Patty is to 2014 as JJ Barea was to 2011. Much as I hate that little rat-face, it's true.
But really, who cares?
Patty is a natural fit on this team with his hustle and determination. Dude's solid.
Yeah, Heat fans/players loved him
I think there is no comparison as far as team harmony and public perception. Mills is a great team player.
Come on with that. Neal's absence opened up space for a guy like Patty to get more playing time, and have a larger role available to step into. If Neal was still here, he would have taken most of those minutes by default, his ty defense would still be a nightly issue this team had to deal with, and on and on. I don't miss Neal in the least, even though I really liked him when he was on the team.
