2-3 and he only had one good series against a ty coach in Scott Brooks.
For Lebron James will be devastating to his legacy. To lose this year, when it was gifted with this joke of an EC, this is the stuff that ends legacies. If you look back at Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kobe, Duncan, Shaq, etc. All these s had 2-3 rings by their 10th year. This guy was supposed to surpass Kobe and then ultimately Jordan. NEITHER of which he has done yet if he loses this year.
Duncan on the other hand, is about to surpass Kobe and not even a die hard Kobe stan will have the balls to debate that.
2-3 and he only had one good series against a ty coach in Scott Brooks.
Agreed, I have no problem with it either. Kobe acted like an ultimate got this last 2 years. Lakers shouldnt have sold out to this guy
I don't agree. Just getting to the Finals in 2007 was an accomplishment, and the loss shouldn't be held against him. It's really 2/4 (being fair), and he is losing now to an all time great team filled with underrated/underappreciated players that keeps breaking records for domination of their opponents.
Now, you could argue that LeBron's 4 straight Finals appearances and 2 rings are tainted because of the whole Miami thing, and I wouldn't disagree at all.
Hope you are joking. James is clearly better than Kirby ever was, he just doesn't have anyone to bail him out if he goes 6-24 in a Finals game.
He'll win on another team, besteva. If he cannot will his team to three straight wins, he cannot climb Jordan and will have to fight for his place in the 2 or 3 position for the remainder of his career.
Surpassed Kobe how exactly?![]()
Maybe he'll make another decision special
Perhaps whether or not to join the NFL?
In every single aspect other than team accomplishments. Can you even imagine a LeBron led team clinching a le while he goes 6-24?![]()
lebrons highest in a non playoff game is +60pts right?
he has yet done anything worth mentioning playoff career
Class. I agree, Tim broke two records in the past game and looking to defy the odds of age.
He knows he can't win a championship (probably anymore), so he just chased the money. Solid business decision from Mamba.
I know Lebron is widely hated, and his detractors are ready to bury him, but how do we blame him when he went 10-17 for 28 points while Wade goes 3-13, Lewis finally disappeared, and they have no PG rotation.
James dropped 19 points in the 3rd and the Heat still lost ground
I ain't being a fanboy here, I just don't see how you can blame him and declare this Finals performance a "Legacy Hurter."
2011? Absolutely that was on him.
I agree - but his legacy will be hurt just by association. Just the fact that he was on another losing team in the Finals. Sometimes when people talk history, they gloss over details like "he actually played well though."
Son, this is like ing right before pulling out on accident. It ain't that premature, the ing is all but done already.
What this series does is show how empty the Heat are and possibly, how weak the EAST is (if that wasn't evident enough, I guess). Lastly, ISO ball will never be better than team ball
Or maybe he will sit on his **** while another team calls and offers their current top 5 big for a scrub like Kwame Brown. Etc Etc...
Accept some help getting your noze out of Kobees ass.
Yep.
LeBron shoots 60% and scores 19 points in the 3rd qtr while the rest of his team goes to pieces.
Kirby ballhogs 6-24 and gets bailed out by ref rimmin and Pao Gasol.
No comparison.![]()
