About the interview he was joking. Just teasing his teammate (even though the humor reveals some times a genuine frustration, yeah). He makes often that kind of statements with Boris Diaw.

About the picture, Parker never has been a towel-waver and seems always focused on one goal: win a championship.

But is he jealous? is he frustrated? Yes, a bit. But it's mainly affect his game. Don't care much what he can say or show on the bench. It seems that every game, he's the only one who takes forced, early and bad mid range jumper. Two, three times. It reveals his will to be more implicated in points. It doesn't affect much the momentum because it's only two or three times, but it's too much. Not yet hero ball, though. But if it's a close game, he will have the temptation to force the issue. But as long as other guys shoot the ball well, as long as he makes the right decisions, on his shot selections and his work for finding a good shot for someone else, that's not a problem. He might try to steal the Final MVP, yes. He might. But he's not that stupid. He also prizes the virtues of the unselfishness of his own team. Being the first option of the team doesn't make him the best option when the cir stances and the matchups ask to use a better one. He would not have been at this level in this team thinking differently. It's the meaning of being coached. He might try to be FMVP but he also may have tried to be a much bigger scorer, leader and potential MVP asking for a trade in a team where he would have been the "franchise player". He would love it. But he also understands what it means. Since he was a incredible talent and big scorer in his youth in France, he learned also instantaneously when he saw his teammates win the Junior European Championship while he was out after five fouls at the end; and he also learned it early when he joined the Spurs, winning NBA les while he wasn't the leader. It has always been a matter of control his natural temperament to want to be a star. This frustration is also why he's so good. Boris Diaw could have been an excellent franchise player... But unlike Parker, despite his skills, he never wanted to say "I can do it; I can be the one", so a big part of his career was a misunderstanding. It helps a lot when you pretend to be... good, better. But when it's about winning, this guy who dreams to be Jordan has a second thought. He has learned that you win with your team, not alone. So he might be formated to be the hero, but he has learned to readjust constantly his game.

And to be honest, it's quite entertaining. Having Tony Parker in this team oriented organization, it's like watching Luke Skywalker struggle with his dark side. Patty Mills, as an Ewok, will never disappoint us with his selfishness; Boris Diaw is the princess who fights for democracy and committed to the separation of powers; Ginobili is Ben Kenobi who seems to have won all wars accepting as a genuine humble master to be bench in history; Duncan is the faithful Chewbacca who knows better than anyone to drive the Millennium Falcon while his fellow (Pop) is sealed in carbonite; Kawhi Leonard is Lando Calrissian, a brigand hired for his thief skills who will prove to be a truly fabulous general; and Parker is Luke, a ing stupid teenager who wants to defeat all by himself the Empire but who will understand that he won't do it without his friends, and without containing his dark side. Parker's jealousy is the equivalent of Ginobili's turnovers: it's entertaining to watch them deal with their dark side. I'm sure that if he wins the Final MVP that Emperor Palpastern would love to see the Spurs finally fail to secure Parker from his pride. "Twice the pride, double the fall."

Not as long as Manu plays in crunch time.
Tony' trend of dribble dribble dribble ends when Manu comes in and makes the offense flow.

What possesses a person to start a thread like this? How can you still be so obsessively butthurt towards a player on your team after a game like this?

I mean, how do you sleep?

I know this was meant to be a troll thread by the OP, but he's not entirely off here. Parker has the biggest ego on the Spurs, and he would absolutely LOVE to win Finals MVP. He's had a really solid series, and a huge game 5 from him is all it might take. I absolutely expect him to shoot more, attack the basket, and try to prove something on Sunday. And the last thing we need is for Parker to go into his dribble, dribble, dribble mode. But he'll chase that Finals MVP. That, I'm sure of.

Manu playing like he is, I'm not worried whenever Tony stagnates the offense, plus add Mills and sometimes Cojo and we won't lose.

Yer er an idiot, per par. Parker stagnates the offense. Mills lights the fire. Mills/Diaw > Ginobili/Parker

I'm not worried whenever Tony stagnates the offense...
Parker stagnates the offense--my exact point, dumbass.

Plus add Mills....and we won't lose.
Duh. Again, exactly what I said. You call me a Heat fan? Lmfao. GTFO.

    Stupid drama queen thread.

All that pic proves is that he was putting his shirt on when something good happened.

Duncan is MVP. He has been the most consistent. I like him, but Leonard has played well in the last two games--so basically 50% of what he is capable of in four games. Why is that MVP?
He's played well in every single game, TD has the luxury of going up against Lewis/Anderson/Bosh, it's a cake walk for him and every single other Spurs player aside of Green. Leonard is taking on the potential GOAT on offense and defense and that is why he is MVP, there isn't a better Lebron defender in the NBA. Look at the team outside of Lebron, it's pretty damn bad.

Game 1 he played great defense and exploded at the end offensively, game 2 great defense, Lebron just made shots only he could make. Look at the shots Lebron is making, they're mostly pull up 3's, heavily contested jumpers/layups, the only reason he's not averaging 40 a game is Leonard, and he IS capable of doing that.

Like what? He has played pretty damn well, tbh. Knowing what kind of team we are playing and adaptong to it. Yesterday though he had his jumper going and for a moment there I saw glimpses of heroball, thankfully it didn't last.

The guy has been praising his teammates the whole series, gave Green advice yesterday when Pop screamed at him, has done a great job of handling that trapping defense Miami plays, Lebron guards him in the 4th...

He said Kawhi has been unbelievable after not doing much in the first 2 games... Who gives a ass clown

    Ban this troll already

"Tell me something about that guy: Kawhi Leonard."
Tony: "I don't know where the he was the first two games."

We all know what happened when he get Jealous with danny green he tried way too much and was detrimental to the team in games 6 and 7..

    I'm feeling it..

Game 5 kawhi Leonard 6 Pts in 3-6 shooting.

Who comes up with this stuff? There is no chance for Tony to get MVP now.
