I am keeping the positions as C/PF/SF/SG/G, with no room to switch positions (ie. none of that 2 small 3 big stuff)
Hakeem could be switched with Shaq, and I would have no problem at all, it just seems like a travesty not to have Shaq in these things, while Barkley, Thomas, Stockton, Dr. J and Kobe makes it.

For me it depends on who's coaching which team. That solves some player issues for where I place Jim. If Pop is coaching the third team then I have Jim there. If PJ is coaching the 1st team then I have Jim nowhere near that team. Based on the players above it seems they all have won les on every level at some point of their careers, except Jim. I need to know who's coaching which teams before I can make up my mind.
where do you put kobe if phil isn't coaching any of them?
I got Kobe on the second team.
i said with no Phil. Kobe hasn't done without Phil and his triangle, except getting swept by the Spurs a couple of times, missing the playoffs, etc.

Lebron/Bird and Hakeem/Shaq/Wilt are virtually interchangeable. Tough call but I had to leave off Barkley for Malone and give Shaq the nod over Wilt.
