Pretty much this. Vince Young was never really given enough chances to succeed in the NFL. He led some tremendous drives on the ans back in the day before he was shelved because Jeff Fisher didn't like him because he wasn't "his style" of quarterback.
Not that Vince would have succeeded on the same level as he did in college, but he would have had a much better NFL career had he been given more shots early in his career. Clearly, he was a bit of a headcase, though.
