The 2013 Heat team was better but I doubt this year's team beats Detroit in a series. Even the 2013 Heat team really underperformed in the Finals until LeBron went off in 6 & 7.
Man, Horry is ridiculously clutch. It's painful seeing Timmy missing all those free throws. Glad he's cleaned that up.

Detroit had their own hangover that year and was made to look a lot better than they were because of Duncan's ankles. I think the 2014 Heat would have beaten that Pistons team in 6.
Such as in Game 2 of the Finals.
The hangover stuff can be applied to this year's Heat as well tbh. I have Detroit in 6. No stopping Lebron but Prince isn't a sieve. Imagine 2014 Wade having to chase Rip around and then Chalmers/Cole having to defend Billups on the block. Not even mentioning what a Prime Sheed would do to Miami's interior....
Just like game 7 last years finals in 2013
I think Prince was kind of overrated based on Kobe being Kobe in 2004. Chalmers would have been the one chasing Hamilton and Wade would be guarding Billups most likely. Rasheed is a frustrating player because he'll go into the post against an all-time great like Duncan, but when he's not challenged like that it's like he'd rather face up and shoot from the outside.
Horry's dunk can only be considered in the context of his general play in 4th and OT, and it was only 2 of his 14 points in those periods.
Manu's 2005 game 7 in the 4th was pretty sick too...
Both are some of the most sensational plays in Spurs history. Never have I yelled so load when I saw them. Saying that I think Both are about equal just done at different times.
Those are some of the plays us Spurs fans will never forget.
I'll take Joseph's dunk in OKC.
Horry's dunk, obviously. Though it was beautiful seeing Manu go vintage on that dunk.
Specially since half way in I was thinking "Oh , he's not going to make it to the rim".
I'm not sure he was convinced either.
that was the best part of it, tbh..
Not only was Horry on fire and making ridiculous shots, but he ing pulls out a Space Jam dunk out of his ass at that point of the game..after that dunk, I knew the Spurs were going to win, tbh, it was Horry's night..
Without manus dunk we probably still ring.
The Horry dunk was more clutch (though he didn't hit his free throw, he more than made up for it with his play). The Horry Dunk is at 5:50 on Part 3 (if anyone wants to reminisce).
I remember jumping out of my chair both times, but the Manu dunk was also the symbolic nail in the Miami coffin (and my favorite).
