He was trying to put the team on his back and lead them to a win, a big burden not many would bear tbh... but as the defending Finals MVP of 07' he knew it was his to carry.
Sadly in that first half though, shots just weren't going in. Here's where you can truly appreciate his greatness. During a TO, he talked to Kawhi and calmed him down, bringing about Kawhi's will to win. Parker is a team guy, if his shots weren't going in he carried guys like Kawhi through emotional strength.

I used to scoff Rivers and think the success in Boston was all due to having great vets and role players and Thibedeau as an assistant, but the way Griffin became a top 5 player and Jordan a top 5 defender when they previously looked hopeless says a lot about him. If they can get a quality SF this summer and a little more incremental development out of Blake they could be serious next season. It would definitely be hilarious to see someone leap past Methlahoma when this was supposed to be their conference since 2012, though obviously I want one more Finals trip in 2015 for Duncan.

I honestly think the Buss family would've sold the Lakers if they were offered $2 - $3 billion before the Clippers offer. Now i don't see them selling for anything less than $5 - $10 billion.
