We always had the bottomless wallet to go back to. Even if we didn't go there, it was always ALWAYS available. No more.
I feel so ing poor now.
I'm happy for ya, boy.

props on learning about catfishing and already implementing it.
thanks dale. it may be 5>5 now but at least the suns are 0 & 46
Yep, I still have that. And it's not in imminent danger either.
How about the Lakers try build from the ground up and develop players now?
With the new CBA, the NBA is now about rewarding front office competence rather than how deep their pockets are.
I think the Lakers gave up too quickly on players like Goudelock and Earl Clark.
The Lakers are stuck at #2 anyway.
If by "#2" you're referring to . Or #2 basketball team in LA.![]()
You know it's not the wallet. You're not fooling me.
It's the braintrust. Top to bottom. Players never above the franchise. When Shaq got fat and happy, he was dealt with swiftly. When Kobe started pouting, he was told he could move to the Siberian Pistons.
You only needed two max players for 09 and 10. You can have two max players now. But you had a coach that could make Sasha and Radmanovic look like fresh salad on a hot summer.
Silver doesn't look like Stern, and that's another big loss right there. He just handed his first LOBT to a small market. Help isn't coming there.
I think the franchise can be saved, but it will take a Lakers' great to do it.
Don't think Jerry West is gifting any players to LA anytime soon
what did Cubes do in the negotiations? It sounds like sweeping the Lakers wasn't enough for the jew bas ,
I ain't trying to fool ya. I'm being candid. If you don't believe my assessment that is your lookout. The new CBA threw us for a leap. We've never recovered. And we can't, because everytime we'd make a mistake before it was only 2 for 1 to get out of it. Big deal. Buss would wink & nod and open the wallet. Now when we up there is no where to go.
But, I'm talking to deaf ears, EL. You don't want to discuss. You have an agenda. 48 hours ago didn't sate it. Nothing will. You're incapable.
look who's talking
They're/we're still in a state of shock. When you're used to (better) it is difficult to change, to step down into the melee. It is incomprehensible to the subconscious. Sure, you get the legal papers and you know what IT MEANS, but, your mind will not accept it, cannot accept. Like being mugged in the streets, you're in a state of physical shock. That's us, we've never known "poverty." Never stood in line before. We'd make a mistake and could walk away from it without even looking back at the wreck in our wake. Just start over and all it cost was 2 for 1. It was like Xmas every day.
We, WE, WE, WE, cannot face itPERIOD
None of that, Dale. No agenda. I'm genuinely worried about the current state of affairs.
I always been a Dr Buss fan, and never hid my appreciation for PJax. I think they're doing Dr Buss wrong.
I also think the Lakers' greats don't like Jim. They're not outright calling him out out of respect to the memory of his father. But it won't take long if it keeps going like this.
Last season I said I was considering making amends with you. The only thing that gives me pause is the back to back chicken , tbh. We'll probably never look eye to eye, but I don't have a problem with real fans, and I know you're one.
I won't do this with you. No.
