I was discussing brasil with an italian colleague and we were discussing this interesting idea that scolari's tactics are based on countering spain & argentina since they play so much on the wing while having a really good defense when pressed. Such a team should be excellent tactically against said teams but it does leave an (almost) empty midfield and by design overexposes the RB/LB since they act more as wings .. leaving the defense exposed for counters. This could be easily seen vs mexico.

Africa should have its World Cup spots reduced to 4 or even 3. They're always hyped as up and coming and then don't do . Best result is quarterfinals 3 times. Paraguay, Sweden, Romania, Venezuela, Ukraine or even Peru are better than this dross. There's one or two who made it to the knockout stages per tournament and nothing else.
