Pop has had two seasons now with Splitter...and in two seasons...he has not been able to "find time" to try and integrate his only two players approaching 7 feet....this is the NBA where being tall is something that can't be taught...on top of that Splitter is not just some "serviceable' "blue collar" role player...he can actually be an asset by his mere presence on the court with his vision, passing, and basketball IQ...but head coach has pissed away two seasons....

This seasons playoffs are just about here and head coach is right on cue to get embarrassed again....

There is lot to say, about why Pop is a genius, how Pop has changed over the years, how we may think he was influenced by Larry Brown, and even Pops sense of humor, among other things.
We don't need a million threads (obvious exaggeration) on this site when it can be done in a few IMHO.

As an aside, I do appreciate your criticisms of my posts even though I think you probably doubt that I do. I read, and I take some things to heart, and I change. I also appreciate when there is fairness involved too, when someone can see both sides of a squabble and be fair in their criticisms.
SBM and I have had many many passionate arguments in this very thread in the early part of last year. But he did own up to being wrong at the end just lately. I appreciate that too.
If the cir stances had been different, I would have owned up to it too.

Pop is one of the very few great coaches a combination of "players coach and Xs & Os coach, up there IMHO with the greatest coaches of all times, maybe even in the top 3.
