I'm just now wondering, does De Culo automatically get a ring for spending a big chunk of the season with the team?

Poor De Colo, he should have just kept his mouth shut, lol.
I'm pretty sure it's up to the team to decide.
Just prove we were right to blame him as being the main reason we didn't win the le last year, it was easy to see that last season he didn't come with the right at ude, fire, intense, will to win was lacking... Now I'm half forgive him for his part in redemption...
I am with you two on that, it makes the day better at times. He admitted himself he wanted to do alot better this year and didn't do what he could or thought he could last year.
BTW DAMN those numbers were nice this year! YES.![]()
Worthy quote from Bill Simmons:
The best thing about a redemption le: That “unforgettably devastating” defeat becomes forgettable pretty fast. Boston fans stopped thinking about Boone’s homer a little before midnight on October 27, 2004. The Spurs and their fans stopped thinking about “28.2” on Sunday night. The Patriots and their fans stopped thinking about the Helmet Catch right as Gronkowski pulled in Brady’s Hail Mary in Super Bowl XLVI. It’s the best feeling you can have as a sports fan: winning the le AND dumping your baggage. Anyway, I have been in the house in 1984, 1985, 1986, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014 when an NBA team won a championship; Sunday night was the most emotional scene I can remember. You could feel that 12-month journey with every hug.

Feels so good. I joined SpursTalk the season after we won in 07, so this is my first true championship here on the site. So fantastic.

I had to laugh at that one...the Pats lost SB XLVI.![]()
Hahaha yeah. Simmons is such a great writer even when he's a bit of a homer. At least he's aware of his bias.![]()
Edit: I didn't read the whole article. I get it now.

Umm, yes, he's joking. If you read the article you'll see that he even states so immediately after that paragraph.
I see now, I was only reading the part that had been posted in this thread. Thanks.
It was such a great moment getting to watch the Final game live whilst (ssh!) at work here in Australia and then busting out my TP9 jersey from underneath my work clothes...
20 Years of following this team "religiously" this year, and damn - it still feels good (no matter how much ish my wife gives me for it!)

to be fair it's not a one man game and if some of the other guys stepped up and played well maybe we could've still won but Manu could've done better at not turning the ball over.Just prove we were right to blame him as being the main reason we didn't win the le last year, it was easy to see that last season he didn't come with the right at ude, fire, intense, will to win was lacking... It's been a long 7 years, but it feels so good to have our beloved team back on top once again after all of the adversity that they have had to face during the last 7 years...
Agreed. Also Im still celebrating.
For the whole summer....GO SPURS GOOOOOOOO!!!.....SAN ANTONIOOOOOOOO...
It's still ing unreal. And we get until roughly next playoffs to celebrate being the champs. This summer is going to be awesome.![]()
