He is injury prone because he is compe ve . . . LJ said it best, please re-read his post.
I don't need to re read his post! Duncan is a compe or as well beyond belief and there are others out there. Manu threw his body around alot and played for years on end summers etc. His body just broke down that is all! I am not mad at him at all as he is a reason we have a le or two! I love Manu and his game, he is a pure compe or and will make mistakes while doing that a few times and throw his body around and get hurt more! There are plenty who are compe ive though and are not injury prone! He just threw his body around more which is fine with me because he gave it his all!!!!!!! MANU FOREVER! He is one of my faves to ever watch in this game.
Honestly, I thought Manu did miss more games than the graphic shows.
As said before, Manu is reckless. If he didn't play the way he does he wouldn't be as great as he is.
LOL I thought he missed more too! I agree as well with the last part.
I dont give a ..without manu would not have last 3 rings....
You could say that for Bowen etc. on this team! A TEAM GAME! With that said MANU even in his rookie year made timely shots and threes etc. He started a 4 Q run in Dallas in game 6 in 03 with a layup and a big three! NJ game 6 with a steal! He also hit a huge shot at the end of a game against NJ that ICED IT! He played a huge role his rookie year and hit some huge shots.

I remember game 6 gainst PHX, he hit some huge threes! He just had that IT not many have even in his rookie year! I looked at him in 03 and his play and said this is not an average rookie! He just looked like a winner and played like one.

Because he plays hard as f*ck; he has more heart than most players to ever step on the hardwood.

Dude never goes half-speed. His injury list would be a lot shorter if he played like most NBAers.

Manu honestly deserves a statue at the AT&T center.

Bill Simmons nailed it on the head when he said we'd see 10 more Dwyane Wades before we see another Manu Ginobili.
Thats cuz bullish black guys are genetically superior physically to skinny, injury prone whiteys. Also, and more importantly, Americans are far better nourished than just about anyone on the planet. It sure helped us when fighting the Brits back in the day.

Sad thing is the only thing Manu will be remembered or known for is being injury prone or being the reason why the Spurs didn't make it all the way. It's not like he has many or any NBA accomplishments other than being lucky to be a part of three NBA championships. His NBA resume isn't that impressive at all. I'd hate to see him continue to go down with injuries like he has. This is the reason I say for his sake I hope he decides to retire. At least his gold medal and his other international accomplishments will probably get him into the HOF alone.

I am beginning to agree with this narrative. Dude helped in 2003 and 2005 but has basically hitched his wagon to way better players.

With this Thread le in Mind, Don't you think if they ever put a statue of Manu at the At&t center Spurs fans would trip over it?

Losing Leonard way worse than losing TOSB.

Manu shows up. Passes to the other team. Not a valuable "skill" tbqh.

I don't get why the same posters that are seething mad that Manu is going to play for his national team are the same posters that keep saying he doesn't do anything right for the Spurs...

coincidentally the same posters that were fronting a Gino avatar not two days ago...
