The player who can bring the most help right away, it's probably the last year of Duncan and last chance to win a le, dont draft for the future, draft a wing who could take away Pussynelli minutes and make us less relible on Manu...
Id like a stretch 4 to backup diaw since bonner is prolly gone and I unlike most of you dont hate Bellinelli at backup sf.
But we all know it will be some player from Latvia or something that we stash

An American black 3 with defensive chops that can backup Kawhi.
Voted for the point forward/center as I'd love to have a guy like that backing up Kawhi while maybe doing some poor mans Diaw stuff as a 4.
But I'm honestly hoping for a stash, as I want to see the exact same 13/14 team coming back.
After all it depends on what they think will happen to Diaw/Mills. If Mills goes, a 3rd string PG would be nice. If Diaw goes, another big is needed. Combine that with the hole at backup SF and we might just go BPA.
Al depends on what they think Mills is going to do tbh.
My favorite prospects that are realistic at 30 and are guys the Spurs would actually draft are Spencer Dinwiddie, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Walter Tavares. But Thanasis Antetokoumpo and Damien Inglis are realistic options as well.
The closest thing to a Trevor Ariza type player.
It's considered a SF draft, and a number of them will fall into the late 1st round, but I don't see any that are 'can't miss' guys.
Can he be a PG in the NBA?
Pipe Dream would be the Spurs can steal a good bigman from the draft. Someone to backup Timmy that the Spurs could invest time in. Other than that, we need to be looking for a backup for Kawhi or another project PG.
Shooting guard with length. Someone to take over for Manu in a year.
The Spurs need to draft the best player available but at 3 key need positions:
Power Forward/Center
Small Forward
Shooting Guard
Anything PATFO does will likely make some sense since the team isn't in desperate need at any position, but finding a fourth big man - which could be Baynes if he returns - is key to keeping Timmy, Boris and Tiago fresh for possibly another deep playoff run. Finding another wing could help as well, especially with Manu playing in the Summer, yet most of the minutes will be divided up between Manu, Danny, Kawhi and Marco, again. The rookie would only get the leftovers and see a lot of time in Austin.
I wouldn't mind having them draft an above the rim defender. I am tired of seeing so many athletic plays made around the Spurs basket.
