More than Kawhi, More than Diaw, FO needs to extend this guy. This guy saved the Spurs' asses against Ibaka and OKC. You won't be celebrating beating a weak-ass Heat squad, because the team would've been bounced in the WCF if he wasn't there. Consider it.

WhataBonner was just showcasing to his future team. Imagine how much Atlanta is going to pay him, he's like Pero Antic with the body/mobility of Luis Scola.

For the minimum? Sure. Anything with a number and six zeroes after it? Take a hike.

I could be wrong, but if it is for the minimum, which he's worth, it would have to have a number and six zeroes after it. Veteran minimum for him would probably be over a million. I'll let someone with more knowledge about those specifics drive that nail home, though.

Why do you think Duncan is taking less money this season?

1.45M, but on a one year deal the Spurs only pay 915K, and only 915K counts towards the cap/tax.

No, it's time for Bonner and the Spurs to seek greener pastures. If they make other more important roster moves and Bonner is still available then maybe. But I'd prefer if they finally went in another direction away from Matt.

Bonner is worth 915k but ONLY after everyone else is signed.

The funniest thing is that Matt Bonner was just a toss-in on the Rasho Nesterovic trade. Erik Williams was the main piece of that trade (he had a bigger salary), but Bonner had to be included to make the numbers match. Williams only played in a handful of games for us in a role not unlike Damion James this season. Bonner on the other hand has stuck around for 8 seasons and 2 championships. Go figure.

Interestingly enough, the Raptors were rabid to sign any traditional center they could get and settled on Rasho. Why? Chris Bosh was being a whiny and was tired of playing center and wanted to move back to PF.

Wow...that ejection of Bonner was total bull . He hardly touched KG. Can't blame Bonner for KG being a ing flopping vagina.
