Saw it in the other thread. Guess there goes the national team play.
That's usually a pretty reliable source. They typically only post verified stuff. If this isn't accurate it would be a big surprise.
Yeah, could be true. Only thing I've seen floated around about it so far, but seems like a weird thing for someone to just float on the rumor mill.
If it is true, hopefully Mills can get it taken care of over the offseason and not have to miss too much time.
Is this bull ?
Damn, are you serious? That ing sucks.
That would really suck for Patty.
He didn't seem to be injured in the final. What happen?
bet he signs a one year deal with spurs
No, it has been a lingering issue, probably. Thus him wearing the kinesiology tape. If he had to play, today, he would. But, now that it's the off-season, you get fixed if you can.
Wow, that really sucks. Hope it isn't that serious.
I sent a tweet to some of the Spurs' beat writers... let's see what they have to say.![]()
Was he under sedative during the team medical exam? I'd be su ious at this point if I were him.
remember, he was wearing acres of black shoulder tape at one point.
can't be too bad looking at his playoffs
Guys, no need to act so surprised. It was fairly well-do ented that this was a lingering issue which Mills dealt/played with all season, receiving regular treatment and playing with his shoulder taped. Having surgery to correct it once and for all is a good thing for Patty, and a blessing in disguise for the Spurs in their hopes of re-signing him.

This will help us resign Patty cheap, proabably get a 1-2 million dollar discount, blessing in disguise
He seemed fine during the Finals. Game 5, 3rd Q to be exact........ When did he injure it? At the HEB autograph signing?
For those that like a better source than me:
Patty Mills - G - Spurs
Patty Mills has played through a chronic right shoulder injury for the Spurs this season.
Mills wears kinesiology tape on his shoulder during games, and routinely receives treatment, and thus far he hasn't missed a game all season. His 10.1 points per game are a shade under his career high, and he's adding 1.6 threes, 1.8 assists and 0.9 steals as a reliable bench weapon for Gregg Popovich's squad.
