That is why I said they must be going after Rondo hard if they are even thinking of bringing Smith with the thought that he can reel him in.
More power to them, but the only thing that's been proven to stop him from shooting threes in the past was not a player or coach but just that it was a contract year....
Williams would be gone, and they needed Gay to opt in and now work on a better long tem contract, also gives management a better feel going in to the draft knowing they have a starting SF. Do you want me to list the Kings starting SF's over the last decade?
We're small market and not exactly a place any free agent wants to come to. Gotta stack talent however we can, whenever we can. And again, I'm just happy to see our name being thrown around in rumors, it's been too long.

Deal is apparently dead. Like I said it's just fun to be part of rumors again. A few years ago Kings fans were trying to get excited about Aaron Brooks.
Kings = trash team. Their new owner looks like a meddling crackpot so far, too. Doesn't look good for them.
