The husband of "Deal Or No Deal" suitcase model Katie Cleary shot himself to death ... just weeks after she was photographed getting cozy with Leo DiCaprio and Adrian Grenier.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Andrew Stern shot himself in the head Sunday while he was at a shooting range in the San Fernando Valley.
The 40-year-old businessman was married to Katie ... who was also a contestant on "America's Next Top Model." Katie was photographed in Cannes last month with Leo and the two seemed tight. There are also photos of Katie in Cannes with "Entourage" star Adrian Grenier.
We're told law enforcement interviewed various people after the suicide, including Katie, and they were told -- among other things -- he was suffering significant stress over marital problems.
Our sources say Katie told law enforcement she and Andrew were in the process of getting divorced.
A source close to Leo tells us Katie and the actor never hooked up and he left the club with his GF Toni Garrn.
In addition to marital problems, law enforcement says Andrew had a history of depression and had financial issues.

B) Husband: Eh. Obviously mental issues & caught up in the Hollywood lifestyle. Things weren't going to improve for him after 40 years old, might as well end it now.
Not necessarily true--he could still find poon it just takes a little more effort. the that is a . But never take your life over one.
I'm willing to bet he was more into the lifestyle. With financial issues & no Wikipedia page, he would find it hard at 40+ to regain entry within "the In crowd" and find another Hot wife

That is true. Well, he was just not cut out for this world. that Hollywood because you know coming in: Most Hollywood relationships, or, in-crowd relationships have the lifespan of a fruitfly and loyalty is only to fame and the almighty in' dollar. I have seen it from the inside with my circle of friends, and it isn't something conducive of nurturing relationships. Might as well be a 'em and leave 'em type if you're dabbling in that arena of life.
The truth is the guy must have known she did him wrong, he let the peak of the break up pain want him to die. I actually understand where the guy is coming from, its re ed to kill yourself over a girl, but I cant imagine the shock of loving a girl alot, his wife none the less, and being reported on TMZ that shes basically a celeb ho that dudes with. Now he just looks like the dancer who impregnated the hack Jennifer Lopez or the no-name who knocked up the Brittney Spears, or, he could've been at least that in theory. She isn't even a B actress she's like a nobody. Why the would you do yourself in like that? It's laughable only since i'm only speculating but it just seems stupid to be that reactive.
Thats true as well, I think a lot of people are going to destroy this guy and say he's a and all. However, if you're really invested in a girl and shes your wife, I can see someone really being pushed over the edge with this one. I can't even imagine how you could accept your wife cheating on you much less be a quasi celeb ho for it.
Now Katie's rep tells us ... the couple split 8 months ago and Stern filed for divorce in April. The rep says Cleary and Stern discussed the photos and they were a non-issue.
But several of Andrew's friends see it differently, telling us the pics really bothered him. They say Andrew still loved Katie but filed for divorce because she was humiliating him by globetrotting and hobnobbing with celebs.
Katie's rep also says Katie and Adrian have been friends for a while, and she had never even met Leo until the night of the photo, where they talked about animal conservation and that's all.
As we reported ... in addition to marital problems, we're told Andrew was stressed out over finances. Katie's rep and Andrew's friends say he was also struggling with depression.

Depression is a to control so I could see it being the final straw...terrible. But it isn't an uncommon thing.
