Also, Rojo is too attack-happy. He goes up with nobody covering his back, and he can't ing even cross it right half the time.

Ricky is too feeble to defend. He's another one way player, unfortunately. If Pipita is mailing it in, then play Lavezzi for him. I like Lavezzi, but his weakness is the header, which Higuain does well.

The big problem is we're getting a half-assed effort on defense in the midfield by Di Maria. You can't do that against good teams, but you can't take Di Maria out either. So get a defensive midfielder and promote Di Maria forward, I don't see any other easy solution. Right now, we're basically attacking with 4 guys, and none of them are defending or helping defend in the middle.

Because even as bad as he has been so far he has those sparks of World-class brillance that can turn a game around. His control and dribbling at elite speed was one of the most important aspects of Argentina's first goal in this match.

Yup, plus he's still one of the few that will try the outside shot, and he can outrun anybody on the pitch, which for a generally slow team like ARG, it's a plus.

He's elite attacking, he just won't play defense. Pisses me off, because he just won't even bother trying.
