I remember being in the viewing party, never realizing until that moment how bad the screens were. Terrible image quality. You could barely make out the score on the broadcast.
Living in Dallas and being used to the AAC, I was shocked when I went back to SA for the WCF last year and saw how tiny the screens and stat boards were. It was like stepping back into the 90s. They are definitely in desperate need of an upgrade.

Lets Ping this thread. Any news on this? Its been really hush hush.
Hopefully, they'll bump it up to 7mm to get a damn reliable A/C unit in there.
Is it just me or is every other major city far more updated than we are? lol
I believe this was the idea when they built it, but sadly never happened.
The AT&T Center is a great arena. I've been to my share of NBA arenas and I love the AT&T Center. Where they put it though is another story. They dropped the ball on that one. Horrible location.
Like move it to downtown.
They need some type of lighting or logo on that stadium roof.
and finally free wifi
How could it? It's a bunch of stock and rail yards. Big businesses have major money invested in that land, and they were never going to give that up so that AT&T Center Pkwy could get turned into a tourist trap.
Combine that with terrible traffic infrastructure and nothing within walking distance worth actually walking to, and we see what we are left with...a pretty arena that's stuck out in the middle of the ghetto.
