I believe they have did their research, luckiest guy in the first round
Early is one o those PFs that is going to have to learn o play SF in the NBA. Just not great fit.

Kyle Anderson smoked weed with my grandma.
I watched him play quite a bit this season because I live in LA and they show a lot of UCLA games out here, and I can tell you he's a good player. He's is slow though and will be a liability on defense, but he has skills, especially passing, and will be a great replacement for Diaw when he leaves imo. Good pick.
Spurs didn't expect him to be there at 30.
Favorite college player since Kevin Love. I just can't see him guarding anyone in the NBA though. But the definition of classball, at least offensively.
Dude can pass off the drive...
Man this guy plays terrible defense to me this is a clone of Austin/Deshaun Thomas.
Not really, more like Magic Johnson.
Jesus, you guys have no idea what this guy is like.
Versatile tall player with handles who can play on the wing and lead the break. Nice.
Nothing like those two.
Kwahi/Diaw need a quality backup and this is it, bulk him up a little bit and another good passer for the engine. Love his height and wingspan.
Spurs is the best team in the league at developing role players, maximize their strengths and minimize their weaknesses.
Can do a lot worse with 30th pick.
Last in the league about as long too.
A high IQ player who moves the ball well . . . sounds like the sort of player who may be able to come in and contribute to the Spurs bench right out of the gate.
I like the pick
If there's one franchise that can work with such an unique player, it's San Antonio. He can definitely play.
Not impressed...he does look like he's moving in slow motion. No elevation on the jumper and very late release. His offensive game will not translate well to the NBA. But Leonard had a terrible jumper too... maybe Chip can work another miracle. I see him more as a defensive player that can make those spot up 3's. Might eventually develop into a backup for Leonard.
Have seen him in person twice, he's overrated.
At #30 you can't go wrong with a guy like Anderson. If he develops into Diaw 2.0 you've hit a homer, if he fails to develop it was only a #30 pick.
Love it, typical Spurs steal. I think this kid will be very useful in a few years.
Same here. Love the kids vision, feel for the game and size.
It takes him half the shot clock to get his drive going. I'll always take a raw athlete over slow and unathletic.
He may not pan out but he is unique and his ceiling is really high for a #30 pick.
What a terrible take.
