I've never bought the dvd before.
Does it show the whole season? Or just the Finals?

So full coverage of the finals though? Like all 48 minutes of the 5 games against miami? And then just highlights from the regular season? Or is there full film on the full playoffs too?
Doesnt show full games .just highlites of all playoff series and some regular season.kind of like the beautiful game clip.plus extras and special features .
I think on one of them it had all of the 4th quarters of the close out games of the playoffs. Think it was the 05 one.

My guess is they might have the first quarter of Game 3 and the fourth of Game 1 as bonus footage. Maybe the fourth+OT of Game 6 in OKC. Last year's Miami DVD had the fourth+OT of Game 6 and the fourth of Game 7.
My box set had 16 Dvd's with every winning game of the Finals. I also have several individual DVD's that feature highlights of the year and playoffs. I'm thinking this one will be like more like that. Watch the box set of the complete games more often.

Holy crap. I found it on Amazon for $200. I never realized it had 16 discs. I never bought it cause I had 03 05 07 Dvd's. I thought it was just that plus the 99 one.
I love this set. I really hope they put out something with all the finals wins from this year at some point. The highlights are nice, but the games are better.

Same here, I got it back when it originally came out for $70-75 or so. Now the price has sky rocketed..
I remember seeing them for that much. I wonder if they'll cone out with another one and include this year's.
Most likely it is now out of print hence the price hike and also why Amazon no longer sells it directly but instead through third party sellers...
I wish we would get a special edition version like the Mavs got in 2011...
It has come way down. I remember looking for the set 2-3 years ago on Amazon and the sellers were asking $1,000 on amazon. Though amazon can be really weird when things are out of print. I once saw my old freshman physics textbook selling for $5000 because it had been long out of print and he was one of two people selling it (the other copy was only $700).
I have that 16 DVD set... it's great... don't remember how much I forked off for it, but I did buy it circa the '07 championship...
Get this: I had a feeling we would win it all in '07 so I recorded every game of the playoffs on DVD.
