Pierce needs the ball in his hand to be effective. Pau, marion, and okafor would fit seamlessly. Marion would be great to have for certain match-ups. Marion at the 4, Kawhi at the 3, Danny at the 2....that is some length tbh...
Paul Pierce
Pau Gasol
Vince Carter
Shawn Marion
Emeka Okafor
If he's willing to take the cut in minutes he should at this point in his career -- but he played 28 mpg in the regular season last year.

i will start him and give him 24-28 mpg...
in Spurs ball movement he will be ok, also Pierce creating skill will be value for us when bad Manu happened...
Pau Gasol. If we re-sign our players - Patty and Boris - then having Pau as our 4th big would make us 10 deep. However, I doubt he comes to the Spurs in a limited role and I don't think Pop would like starting him with Duncan. Would it better than the Lakers Pau and Howard combo? Ithink we would be destroyed in the pick and roll.
I prefer Chris Kaman. He can still score. Duncan's minutes wil go down and small injuries are bond to show up.
So choose Paul Pierce
Jared Dudley, in exchange for Kyle Anderson![]()
Luis Scola
Bruno has got my back here.
'Eh, probably so. I gotta read this new CBA the way I did the ones in the early 2000s back when the Spurs had tons of cap room (01 and 03).
I think I can put it off another year.
Pau Gasol by far, but I wouldn't mind Shawn Marion.
Don't want Vince Carter, sorry. The Vince Carter curse is still alive imo.
Give me either Frye or McRoberts.
We're also known as the Silver and Black, just FYI.
Black and White = Brooklyn
Gasol. Have to start getting ready for the AD (after Duncan) era and he's still one of the best big men in the game. I could definitely see a Parker-Kawhi-Gasol trio competing for a le after Duncan retires.
Update that old ass avy.
None of the above. Our Support players cannot be as old as our core. That's what happened to us in 2010 and 2011.
Patrick Patterson, Josh McRoberts, Channing Frye. Patterson as the 1st preference, though he's restricted and unlikely. Basically, a shooting big who can play next to Tim or Tiago.
None of the above.
I remember the Larry Brown days. We already have all the old vets we need![]()
Pau but on the premise that we get Patty and Boris back.
It's not going to be Carter and Gasol.
It's going to be Cartier and McRoberts at best.
Okafor would be nice on the cheap...
