Colombia like I expected will be the darkhorse

Colombia will lay a spanking on Uruguay. Chile vs Brazil is a hard one, part me of wants Brazil gone just for the kicks.

i wouldnt say he was bad in the Nigeria game, he was quite involved actually, something we didnt see against bosnia iran.
We are talking by Messi standards. How many dribbles did he make? I only remember one where he was fouled. And that's it. Go watch Messi against Nigeria in 2010, that's playing well. Anyways, Argentinians and non-Argentinians (at least those who speak spanish), enjoy the song of the world cup:

Argies having the nerve to troll Brazil for one game and not taking into account decades of ass spanking from them Brazilians is the ultimate irony. It's close the stupidity level of Mexicans making fun of Argentina...... argies deserve the hate TBQH

Did you see Argentina play in 2006? That team didn't lose a game. Very solid defense and midfield, and we had good offense with prime Riquelme, Crespo, a young Tevez, Saviola and baby Messi on the bench. To me 2006 Italy was the most mediocre world champion of all time, barely beating Australia (a gifted penalty being the last play of the game) and Ukraine to get to semis.
thinking that argentina side would of won

ok, I'll give a reasoning too. Italy and france were all time teams. I really disliked that italian side but their defense was just filthy. On the other side you got a france that went through a young monster in spain, a re edly stacked brasil, a very talented portugal and then beat italy.

I really enjoyed 2006 argentina, your best side in the last 20 years imo, but they would've got beaten by italy and/or france. Argentina should invest in coaching. WC waiting to happen if coached properly.

btw how many cards would the por - net game in 2006 have reached if it were to go to penaldos? Would there been sufficient players on the pitch after another 30 minutes?
Tackling was increasingly vicious in the 2nd half

Hahaha, yes, it may be a pretty stupid attempt to troll the Brazilians, but funny. Yet, despite them beating us in Copa America 95, Copa America Finals 04 and 07 and Confederations Cup 05, the last time we met in a world cup we left them out... and we are playing a world cup now.

The only part I agree with your post is the "re edly stacked Brazil" but that team didn't have a good game in the world cup and had some players that were playing their last compe ive games and didn't look any good (Roberto Carlos and Cafu come to my mind).

I would love for you argies to win one in brazil as I can't stand half the brazilian team especially that monkey neymar. But frankly I'd love to see it just to witness the most ridiculous riot in the history of mankind.

that spain team had: ramos, xavi, iniesta, raul, villa, puyol, a young fabregas plus alot of really solid players like joaqim and senna. Aragones wasn't a great coach but that was a strong side.
portugal also had penaldo (didn't play injured), deco, figo, plus a slew of porto players from that 2004 champions league run like maniche, carvalho or perreira. That was a strong side. They also beat a netherlands team that argentina couldn't beat in the group stage.

That italy had prime cannavaro (man of the tournament after zidane tbh), prime pirlo, prime buffon, prime totti, and a slew of other world class dudes like inzaghi, gattuso, del piero, zambrotta or cammoranesi. They were stacked beyond belief and their defense was beyond ridiculous. They conceded 2 goals the entire tournament. A zidane penalty and an own goal against usa . They even locked germany down on home court with all the ref help (not much, but it was to be sincere).

The chant goes something like.... "Brazil tell me how it feels to have daddy in your house".... and they brag about that Canigia goal in Italy 1990.... to end with "missi will bring the cup".... and "Maradona is bigger than Pele"

    arg brazil's daddy .....

Dani Alves and Neymar look like complete gots. Please dye your hair back to black before you hop on your respective flights back to Barcelona.

    ... gots.
