I was that little white boy who ran like a little black boy, a running back/sprinter. The only compe ion I had was black athletes so they got my utmost respect. Now add that looseness and easy way of moving.

Then there's the music, that...."woke up this mornin', bout the breakaday, looked over on the pilla where my brown used to lay".....no white man can sell that. Gotta be black.

I don't care about welfare (if we can fight stupid Middle East wars), or crime. They were brought over here againt their will, so who do we really blame?

I grew up around blacks right here in central Cali. Had a black girlfriend in junior high when that wasn't too cool.

Ginger Bakers story is an old one, we saw tons of similiar situations. Elvis (King of rock and roll) was influensed by them Mississppi black blues, Jimmie Rodgers (Father of country music) was influensed by them Mississippi black blues. Pink Floyd (PINK Anderson, FLOYD Council) got that name from old black bluesmen. The Rolling Stones*** got that name from an old 1951 Muddy Waters tune "Rolling Stone". Cream, Animals, Doors, Allman Brothers. Bob Dylan and on and on have all covered old black blues tunes.

The origins of rock and roll....very black.

*** Brian Jones who founded the Stones was a huge Elmore James (black slide guitar master) fan. James was Brian's big influense.
