This has the potential to be one of the biggest NBA fails of all time. Right along with the 97' Jazz, 04' Lakers (although Malone was injured), 13' Lakers, etc.
Lol at comparing those incredibly successful teams that made it to the finals(minus the 13 lakers) to this piece of Bucks team. Come on man.....

This is yet another record that Kidd has achieved. Killing two coaches in less than a week. He killed himself in NJ, and then killed Drew. I feel terrible for Jabari Parker. Kidd is going to ruin in that team. And let's be honest, with the amount of money that the Nets spent on that team and the number of veterans on that team, no surprise they made the eastern conference playoffs, especially given everyone in that conference was tanking and the best team in the East swept them before almost getting swept in the finals. Kidd will coach the Bucks into the lottery.

Not strictly a trade. Nets were given compensation for releasing Kidd from his contract so that the Bucks can interview/hire him.
OK Thanks for the clarification I was thinking WTF.

S bags getting into bed with another s bag...like attracts like.
Without Kidd catching fire in the playoffs and punishing double teamsDirk still sitting on donuts ... he might still be chasing ugly ebony sisters instead of that beautiful sista he now calls wifey.

Pretty sure it's Milwaukee with their pants around their ankles and their elbows on the table.

why would the bucks even want Kidd? That's the part I don't understand. the guy literally just made the most brazen and tactless power grab I've seen in the NBA and he's never left an organization on good terms. He's a bottom-tier coach in the league.

I thought Milwaukee was past the stage of being a ty organization with the ownership change, but this move leads me to believe otherwise.

Apparently one of the new co-owners (Lasry) used to be Jason Kidd's financial adviser, and is still a big fan.

Is this the first time that this will happen?
Doc Rivers was traded to LAC most recently.

This just proves how corrupt and ty the NBA is. Isn't Larry Drew still the coach of the Bucks? This has to be a big you to Drew.

    Outstanding citation, DJ.

Yeah, but our head-coaching job was open, he didn't over a currently-employed coach like Kidd did, tbh....

This is just bad taste in my opinion. Larry Drew might not be a fantastic coach but he is currently the coach of the Bucks. Got to give him a chance before you just him over. Didn't he take the Hawks to the playoffs a couple of seasons?

Wasn't it Larry Drew's 1st year of a 3 year contract too tbh? Does he get paid for the last 2 years? What could the Bucks possibly see in Kidd?

This is true. Kidd also beats his wife which makes the matter even worse.
