A little over the top...but Patty da man or whatever.
His determination to compete and sacrifice a lot despite grinding through this painful injury and to win us our NBA Championship seriously showswhat he is made of OUTSTANDING FIBER. Spurs need to frame Patty Mill's face in san antonio stadium forever.
He is our forever spurs hero

On the bright side, maybe this will be the last straw for kobyz.
ST overrating CoJo after one good performance in garbage time
What about all those games when he started for Parker and did absolutely nothing? Or when he was the backup PG in 2013 and got cut out of the rotation in the playoffs?
Mills > scared to shoot, D-League all-star Joseph
Everything always happens for the better.
I think maybe he is spurs for life after this.
blame cia pop to make patty stay
The thing is even if Patty didn't take one for the team and elected to have the surgery say back in December, sure he'd be healthy for the upcoming season, but no team would sign him. They don't think he can play. So he'd get at most 2 years $4M total.
So now the Spurs can offer 2 years $6M total, with an opt-out after the 1st year. That's what this will be. And Patty can't hate the Spurs for having him play the whole year and affecting Free Agency. Cause there was no Free Agency future for him if he didn't play this past year / playoffs.
his shot was pure in the Finals ... awesome accomplishment playing with that kind of should injury
OP jinxed Mills.
Dude, we get it, you're obsessed with Patty Mills.
No need for a new thread about him every other day.
You obviously didn't watch the playoffs dip
He buried the Heat in the last two games, all over them, with a messed up shooting shoulder. Meanwhile, LeCramp was crying about air conditioning.![]()
He's the reason we had the record margin of victory. The Heat had no answer for him.
Dude he had a good outing guarding Westbrook and running the offense in Game 6, which helped lead to a 17 point turnaround. If Cojo plays great, it can give the Spurs a trade chip this year as well. Same with Daye. Or Spurs can decide if Cojo deserve the backup role to TP for the coming years.
