You wish. This is on that got Duncan. And that's just the way it's gonna be, Lovey.

    Get some!

Parker waited till 20 seconds left in the 3rd to score IN 5 for FIVE

    too late TP

mills already lit it up from Australia.

    Can you blame the players?

We have babied, media overhyped young players; of course they are going to think they are awesome

And if dumb owners are willing to overpay them, then they wil take the $$$$$$$$

Lance knows that, he is not that stupid

No. We ain't doin' Parker, daddy-O. That poor schmuck Mills carried that old gay queen Duncan to it and ed up his shoulder in the process.

Now, put that in your smoke and pipe it.

Exactly. Stephenson made a complete ass of himself during the playoffs and in the process his team and now Larry Bird, the team's rep comes begging him to stay. Bird is the stupid one. Big shot.

Very reminiscent of Stephen Jackson's 2004 contract. They'll regret signing the knuckle head. I'd actually throw that money at Gasol. MVPau will mentor 0 tbh.

    I'll chime in.
I love his game and at ude and he'd flourish if we still had Phil as a coach. Too bad that's not happening and we'll probably end up with Byron Scott...so not sure if he'd be a good fit. Still very young though and I'd gamble on it if I were Chazz.

& sitting in the back seat.
It`s still better to win ring from back seat than be, so called, leader in whole 6 games of lottery team.

Indiana's offer is more than fair. Stephenson is a talented but immature chucker and knucklehead. He would be smart to sign a 3 year contract, mature, become a better player and reset on FA. Kudos to Bird for putting Stephenson in his place and giving him a dose of reality. He's good now but has room to get much better. SMH at these guys. Friggin Gen. Y'ers thinking they are en led to all sorts of based on upside. Gonna be a disappointing FA period for this dude.

We'll see how the FA period shakes up, however I can see teams pitching to their FA that staying the course a la the Spurs and work on chemistry et al will take care of the rest. This would be my pitch if I was a GM.

That was Riley's message too. 4 Finals trips stay the course ...as for Lance talented but I don't trust him with more money and years ...maybe he matures. I love his fire.

I don't know Cully. The amount of the offer and the public disclosure of the details seem designed to send Lance off to seek other suitors while convincing the fan base that the team made a good faith effort to keep him.

Bird is wildly overrated as an exec, but he knows that any team that tops that offer will regret it long before the end of the deal. I believe that he's hoping one of the cap space teams relieves him of a potential albatross.
Yeah, Bird lowballed the out of Stephenson. Obviously he doesn't want him back.

Indiana obviously doesn't want him back. Paying Stephenson market value will bring them to the luxury tax level for a team with no real future prospects. They blew it in 2013 and ain't getting back again until they find a diamond in the draft. What a horrible cap situation:

    1. Paying $15 million to Roy Hibbert
    2. Paying $16 million to Devean George
    3. Paying $8 million to George Hill
    4. Paying $4.5 million to Luis Scola
    5. Paying $4 million to Ian Mahinmi
    6. Paying $3.1 million to Chris Copeland

The only player on the team even remotely close to being worth his contract is David West at $12 million
