The most interesting line in the article:

Ginobili is seeking a second medical opinion before proceeding, sources said.

Can you imagine the meltdown here if Manu gets clearance from another doctor and plays for Argentina anyway?

    Epic potential there.
Argie news report that he's looking for an alternative to surgery, which is what would force him to be out two months. Will update if I read anything else from there.

    True

no offseason news can ruin 5 tbh, nobody can take away 5 from td and the spurs

now that I think about it I thought he was saying something about a foot problem during the Thunder series trying to get away from talking about it. I wonder if this is what it was.

    Wait a minute.

The Spurs just destroyed LeBron and the two-time defending NBA champs with critical contributions from a midget with a torn rotator cuff and a TOSB with a broken leg?

    Manu's leg.
    Patty's shoulder.
    Parker's hamstring.
    Duncan's knee.
    Ayers's brain.
    etc.

    Lebron's cramps.
    Needs more help.

Holy wtf? Damn, him and Mills did some pretty ing impressive . Like everyone else has said, this seems like a blessing in disguise. Now he doesn't have to play summer ball and the crazy argentinian fanatics won't cry third world country tears over it. Everyone wins.

It won't matter how many opinions he gets, a stress fracture is still a significant injury and will show up every time.

Take it easy. Make sure it's not worse than it is. Rest by the pool. Make some more babies.
Great, now Manu to miss several months due to carpet burns.

Honestly, it's impossible to play with cramps. I'm not sure why people are making fun of Lebron for that . You quite literally cannot support your own weight. You can at least stand and run if you have a minor stress fracture or whatever.
