Gordon Hayward will reportedly get the max from the Cavs. As soon as the announcement is made this will go straight to your list...
This summer, teams have all sorts of $ to spend on Free Agents. Per usual, many teams will be offering some stupid $$ to players that just aren't worth the money and will most likely fail on ROI.
Lets get the list started:
1. Jodie Meeks - 3 years/ 19 Million (Detroit Pistons)
2. Avery Bradley - 4 years /32 Million (Celtics)
Gordon Hayward will reportedly get the max from the Cavs. As soon as the announcement is made this will go straight to your list...
Wow, I like Bradley, but not at $8 million a year. I would have valued him at about 4 years, $25 million or so. Meanwhile Danny Green plays on a 3 year, $12 million deal. Damn.
Ben Gordon to Orlando for 2yrs/9M goes straight to the top of the list.
I can understand trading Afflalo to give more minutes to your young guys, but it makes no sense to then give real money to this locker room cancer.
Gotta wonder if the Spurs are going to be able to sign Danny Green next summer. I figure he should get offers of at least 4 years, $38 million or so.
The Magic don't rebuild, they reload...the ammunition in their tank.
I had heard that the second year is either fully or partially non-guaranteed btw.
Danny Green's contract could be one of the 3 best value contracts in the league, tbh..it's tough to argue when you look at some of the big-ass contracts being handed to inferior players..
It's amazing. Every few years the owners lock the players out to fix the CBA to stop them from paying their players ridiculous salaries. Then the next few off-seasons come around and they pass out these ridiculous contracts once again.
They are under minimum cap. Plus deal is team option 2nd year. Great trade material. Gordon can be good assurance for tanking teams.
I forgot Gordon was still in the league.![]()
I would say his contract was the only positive thing that came out of losing to the Thunder in 2012. Green choking massively against the Thunder in 2012 lowered his FA value that summer. I think prior to that series he played real well and then in went downhill.
The other 2 must be Parker's and Curry's.
This is probably being near-sighted but anything above $11M for Wade is bonkers
I don't think teams are going to break the bank for a shooting guard who can't dribble or create his own shot. He's just a great fit in the Spurs' system.
Agreed. 4 Mill is very fair.
Maybe Noah. He`s due to 25mil/2yrs.
He would fit great with Dallas, Golden State, Houston, Indiana, Clippers, Memphis, Miami, OKC and Portland, tbh..
Every team has at least a few guys that can create their own shot/create, you need elite role players to surround them..
Wow, just wow.
What the is happening?
He wouldn't start for any of those teams, tbh. Would any of them really pay him starter money? Doubt it.
Green would start for OKC, Memphis, Portland, LAC, or Indiana from that list, and possibly for Dallas if he plays the 3. He's a terrific fit for any contender, since he's arguably the best 3 and D player in the NBA
To think that Dragic is paid 7,5M per year... Compare him with those ty contracts. One of the most underpaid players in the league.
He can shoot, and he can guard. Which is why he's a shooting guardFor the rest he's supposed to have a point guard...
how the is Spurfan still undervaluing Danny Green tbh?
Jodie Meeks just got 6mil a year and he can't do either plus he's a terrible defender.
