Let's hope Diaw is the next one to claim an injury.
I don't think anyone is making fun. But physical ailments are part of the game too.
Just lousy luck for James is all it is.
Let's hope Diaw is the next one to claim an injury.
More News: Boris Diaw with early stages of stress fracture on both feet due to overweight, out 4 months.
Baynes has refracture his rib, it is now exposed, will miss 3 months.
Tiago Splitter with a sore toe, out 7 weeks.
Kawhi with a rare x-ray imaging on both hands, doctors not sure if they're still growing, out 2 months for precaution.
Bellineli with... wait Italy didn't qualify? OK he's right.
blessing in disguise
by the way didn't Manu have this before and needed surgery to fix it. In a way I wish he would just call it a career and retire (What better way then to end it with a championship) but I understand if he wants to stick around for one more year. What better way then to end it with a championship.
How long does it take players to recover if they need surgery after 2 months?
KSAT-TV sports says Manu is still waiting on the outcome of his second opinion, but it isn't looking good for him to play for his national team. Should know something more definite later today.
Rest up and get ready for October.
Just shows the guy can't hold up for a season even when he takes time off.
wait till Manu healing is rather quick and dude play the wc![]()
Spurs have no chance to repeat, Pop is scrub right ?
This is wonderful news for people who didn't want him to play international ball. He'll be rested.
Jason Kidd wants to make a trade for Ayres to the Bucks and is willing to give the Spurs a draft pick for him?..................Ok, maybe I'm reaching too far on that one.
This.
Sit down Manu,
rehab,
and learn a little wisdom.
WTF. You can't play for FIBA anymore, stop fighting it Gino. Sheesh.
Your kids miss you Manu. This is a sign from God.
See what I did there? He doesn't believe in God..
dumb asses celebrating one of their best players having a serious injury and simultaneously calling him selfish despite him playing with said injury and delivering (another) ring. and the worst part is Im not surprised.
He did have the same injury also in his right leg in 2009, but did not have surgery on it back then.

Good luck, Manu. Here on ST, we are (almost) all behind you!!
Maybe if his second opinion confirms that he can get by without surgery again, he could decide to just go with the Argentinian team and just not play for them?
The injury exists but my participation in the Worlds will depend on how the healing progresses in the next 20+ days. I'm still optimistic.
Im optimista that if he plays we trade
I hope that his injury lingers until about September 25th where he automatically heals and is ready for next season. Honestly he needs to shut it down and he should know better and he should know his body.
Hopefully all this talk about him wanting to play is just a way of not disappointing the Argentine fans and he's planning to take the summer off.
