I doubt it. He has tremendous worth ethic and an underrated athlete, I mean, he played through an injury but still poured the 3's.
There's still a lot to be learned from TP, Duncan and Manu in terms of leadership, so I think this is great for Patty.
He maybe could've gone and started for another team - but this puts him in a good position to be successful, develop his game further and possibly take over the primary PG role in a couple of years.

Please let the terms be reasonable....
3 yr 10-11 mil I'm guessing.
Great news despite the injury.
Sounds great, but I still want to hear it from Woj. I'll guess the contract is 3 years, $15 million, with a player option on the third year.
Awesome, hopefully he comes back even better.
I think it'll be in the area of the Livingston deal.
About what I was thinking as well.
MLE-sized deal sounds about right
Patty has absolutely earned it. I'm really happy for him.
in your opinion, whats the threshold for good/bad in patty's case
so essentially 2 years 21M as he's probably missing the whole season, Mills would be making more than Duncan

considering he outplayed Kobe he should be getting at least 25 mil per
Great news- excited to see the terms, but I know the FO will be fair yet reasonable. Patty deserves it.
It's been that type of free agency season![]()
Glad to have Patty back.
Now need to get Boris to make this team whole again.
Good news
MLE is a fair deal for both sides. For less, SA gets a great deal. For more, SA overpays.
I feel like $15m would be overpaying him considering his injury.
