I don't like Kennedy, but don't get why people are jumping him on that. He didn't say he was amnestied, as Ducks so surprisingly astutely and articulately pointed out.

I'd take Boozer if Errors is killed and the Spurs miss out on all other FA bigs tbh. He could play with Splitter when Diaw starts.

Officially, the Bulls still have several weeks to decide if they want to invoke the amnesty provision for Carlos Boozer.
But they don’t need it.
A source said Wednesday that Boozer’s departure is a “done deal,” adding that Boozer’s camp already has been informed.
There haven’t been any takers on a sign-and-trade for Boozer, and the Bulls also want the money to go in a different direction, whether Carmelo Anthony is in the mix or not.

Eh...I just like ting on Kennedy. It's fun to watch him attempt to "break news" every off season and it be mostly bull or rumors that go nowhere. My favorite one was two drafts ago where he said a trade was about to happen with New Orleans...one that only he reported...and the NO's GM coming out and saying that he was flat making it up. Kennedy replied after that "I stand by my sources." Trade never happened.
Some team under the cap will put a bid (of much more value than the league minimum) to claim Boozer once he hits the wire.
