@MiamixHeatles I reported Bosh's interest in 5 for 90 last night; that would be a starting salary of 15. And Heat are countering to lower.

Worth it if he plays D and is the second option. Not worth it for third option Bosh that refuses to bang tbh.

Still better than Gortat & Co

I think that's his market value. He could probably get that on the following teams:

    1. Chicago (if they can unload Dunleavy)
    2. Houston (if they can unload Rin)
    3. LA2
    4. Cleveland
    5. Milawukee
    6. Phoenix

Not sure what fa are available but the he should consider letting him go elsewhere and building with a bunch of smaller pieces. They obviously can't let Wade go because he doesn't have the options Bosh does and only took the pay cut for the Heat.

Don't even kid like that, Nathan. If he goes that means James is liable to go. And I can't have James roaming the countryside.

They're best off keeping all three, re-signing Allen and Chalmers, renouncing Andersen and Lewis, using the MLE and LLE, and then signing Andersen and Lewis back to minimum contract deals. Something like

    1. James $22M
    2. Bosh $15M
    3. Wade: $15M
    4. MLE: $5.3M
    5. Chalmers: $3M
    6. Allen: $3M
    7. LLE: $2.2M
    8. Cole: $2.1M
    9. Napier: $1M
    10. Lewis: $1M
    11. Andersen: $1M
    12. Minimum salary player: $1M
    13. Minimum salary player: $1M
    14. Minimum salary player: $1M

    TOTAL: $73.6M

I think the luxury tax is $77M this year

I'd personally go for Phoenix if leaving Miami. Maybe Milwaukee wouldn't offer it on second thought though, since they couldn't really develop Greek Freak with Bosh there.

Another load of bull fed to the haters, and they eat it all up. The 3 Kings are literally playing mind games with the media. Nobody is going anywhere. Paycuts will be made. Lowry is not needed when you have 2 young studs in Napier and Cole. I'd love to have Chalmers back if possible. He had a bad Finals, but he is still a great defender and a clutch player.

Really bummed Bosh opted out this year. He'd've been a great get for the 2015 Spurs if Duncan retired.

it would be re ed to "play mind games" and not come to terms since free agents are already being gobbled up. if they Heat want to tweak the roster, they need to get the big 3 to sign on the dotted line ASAP

I like Chalmers and definitely wouldn't give up on him if I'm Miami. He's the PG I would have liked to see the Spurs target if Mills walked. Danny Green the bed just like that in the 2012 WCF, and has since been one of the great big game shooters in the league.

meh the question was about using caproom and then a trade exception.

    Answer:

"A team can't act like it's under the cap and sign free agents using cap room, and then use their Disabled Player, Bi-Annual, Mid-Level and/or trade exceptions."

Minimum salary players become useless in the playoffs so meh

Who will that MLE possibly turn into because they're running of of options. If Birdman and Chalmers don't return, what is a adequate replacement. i need a free agency list.
