but seriously, this is really really dangerous as back injuries can destroy careers faster than common meniscus/ankle injuries. That was a horrible tackle.

terrible news for a young player, however...
brasil has been hitting and flopping like crazy while refs let everything go, todays game was especially bad in this sense, this feels like karma. i was sure it was just another flop and time wasting when it happened but this is the result of that style of play
and shame on fifa, they have ordered refs to swallow their whistles, lots of brutal fouls second player fractured in the wc no red either time but lets do video review and throw the book for a bite
May be a blessing in disguise for Brazil. Neymar didn't fit into the way that team plays. Now Scolari can go into full blown 5-4-1 park the bus style. Long balls to Fred as the lonely rider up-front.
