Perhaps our defense had a lot to do with that, don't you think? Hazard, Ulakuku?, De Bruyn, Felaini with his dangerous headers, Mertens... all pretty solid attackers.

Keeper is doing absolutely fine so far and so the defense. Messi is doing well this time, but not to that point sorry. It feels like you guys want to transform him in a new 86 Maradona when it's not the case at all.
Felaini is one tall mother er. If I was scared about one player in Belgium it was him and his headers. To me that's pretty solid attacking against a weak argentinian defense.
Messi sucked. I'm very worried about him.

Maradona had two great games in '86, England and Belgium, then he was normal.
Romero has had some overrated saves and then he has been his same no security given self. I'm still waiting for his predictable silly mistake.
Defense has been better since Aguero's injury that allowed sabella to play a more conservative 4-4-2 but the individual efforts are still a huge question mark.
did you watch the first half? in the second one he had little participation but that's 'cause we parked the bus, still anytime he touched the ball he did almost everything right.

I think Argentinas goalie has been good, he has saved them countless of times. Messi doesnt really need to be a new Maradona, he is the one who carries argentina anyway.

Messi overall has not been outstanding for 2 entire halfs, he only shows up in spurts
but yet he is the most impactful player argentina has. His that good.

I think it depends who you're gonna face. Vs. the Netherlands you might lose, but vs. Costa Rica I see you winning.
He was not the Messi I expect. Perhaps I overrate him a little bit. I expect him to, at least, have a play where he dribbles two defenders and makes a nice assist. He didn't do that today.
