Would this not be considered one of the biggest d*ck moves of all time if Wade/Bosh teammate and friend went completely dark, caused them to make a poor financial decision and then left them behind?
Wade is a joke now,,,LeBron doing exactly what he should do. Should LeBron continue to be underpaid to carry that fraud?

Just looked at their cap situation, and they can keep everyone and give James the $22 million max by salary dumping either Zeller's $1.7 million or Karasev's $1.5 million. Even if they can't salary dump anyone, they could just come to terms with Varejao on $8.8 million starting instead of the $9.8 million team option.

I hope Bosh is the one to do it, tbh..He's sacrificed the most out of all the Heat and gets hated on way too much. It would be great IMO if he went and signed with the Rockets and just said screw what everyone else is doing.

The real move was Wade sitting out pretty much all season (while LeBron was played into the ground) only to play some of the laziest, pathetic basketball in recent NBA Finals history when it mattered, tbh....

I think this is Lebron reminding Pat who's the boss, and that there won't be any pay-cut from his camp...

tbh, you have to be pretty dumb to go play for Dan Gilbert again.

It's always seen as a move to leave when you're a great player... As far as we know he didn't promise them anything. Wont top the first decision anyway...
I don't think leaving is a d*ck move at all. I think being close friends with people, then going completely dark when the financial ramifications to your championship teammates/friends are huge. Him leaving CLE wasn't a d*ck move. He had every right to move and made the right choice (even if it was handled poorly).

Not the point. He can get a max deal from MIA easily and Wade/Bosh would understand (hence them both opting out).

I think this could be a move by LeBron to get Bosh to leave so they could sign Melo. Wouldn't doubt that.

Sacrificed the most?,,,,LeBron has never been the highest paid player in any season,,,on any team in the NBA he's played for,,,,but Bosh sacrificed the most? LMAO!!!!

I just don't think Lebron wants to be talked into a pay-cut by Wade and Bosh, and I think that's precisely what would happen if they talk... I think he wants Miami to give him the max, and then let Riley figure out the rest...

But as everyone has said, Lebron going to CLE would be a shocker. Can't see it.

    Stephen A. on Sportscenter:

Folks holding this up is Chris Bosh. If Bosh wants to go to Houston, if he decides to do that, that frees Miami up to offer Carmelo max dollars. What isn't a longshot is if Bosh ends up leaving and you have that cap space and Miami can tell Carmelo to come to South Beach. It would have to be facilitated by Bosh going to Houston.

Nobody knows what LeBron wants to do. Cleveland is available. Phoenix, Dallas, Phoenix, and obviously Miami is in the lead. Gortat, Lowry are off the boards. Riley could be waiting to see what Bosh does. If Bosh leaves for Houston, you have a scenario where you get another big three: LeBron, Wade and Carmelo.

People truly think Lebron is going to leave his situation in Miami and go to the ing Cavs. The guy isn't going to ruin his legacy. He has amazing things ahead for him in Miami. Just wait and see.

Agreed. This is all reporting, but some credible guys. But, it also puts them in a very tough position if Lebron truly has gone dark. I can't imagine they would have opted out (wade/bosh) without Bron stating his position of wanting max so that is what makes it odd.

LeBron James deserves the max. I even think he deserves that ridiculous contract the New York Knicks are trying to pay Carmelo At;onathhnl. There are great risks that come with an albatross contract.
