I wouldn't want Bazemore for any more than $2-3 million a year personally. He'd be WAY better defensively than Marco, but he's not near as good of a shooter or overall offensive player as Belinelli.

he has decent size/athleticism. surprisingly, i think teams like him as a defensive prospect, as somebody who can cover 1-3 while not being an offensive liability

Bazemore isn't going to sign with the Spurs to be a temporary filler for Ginobili and Mills, though..he has other suitors, so if the Spurs do sign him, it would have to be assumed that he would receive a permanent spot in the rotation IMO..

He's only 25 IIRC, he's gonna try to land somewhere where he can display his game for his next pay day..
