^ so where does that leave wade?
while true, it basically means the Heat are done upgrading their roster... its only vet minimum after this if the big 3 return
I'd rather not see Bosh end up in Houston. But that's just me
I was going to say that agreeing to terms with McRoberts screws MIA even if Bosh leaves probably. If Bosh leaves, McRoberts no longer gets the "MLE". He would get the cap space. If that is the case, 2 things happen:
1) They renege on McRoberts allowing them to offer a max deal to Bron/Melo and Wade takes his normal paycut he was going to take.
2) They keep McRoberts, but now have 5M less in cap space and how does that impact their ability to sign Melo?
If Bosh doesn't leave (or Wade), then their entire means of improving is gone with McRoberts/Granger signing for the MLE/BAE
I just realized that Broussard is making a strong push to be the next Peter Vescey.
Wade is going to get stranded in Miami after Bosh and Bron get the out of there in the next coming days.
Opting out for nothing.
Not sure if for nothing, he can still make a decent salary with a contender instead. Mind you, not 22 million however. Plus, if he didn't opt out and the other two booked it, he probably would have been amnestied at that rate instead, assuming the Heat could have.
Idk. Bosh is going to make his decision based off LeBron. I do like the offer only because it forced Riley to make two irrelevant signings like he panicked or something. And I don't think LeBron wants Bosh back. It could go either way at this point.
All good points.![]()
He's a + if he does not go ape and want to go down low. Not enough to ring, but, he sure as won't hurt ya's.
Bosh fails to step up in the finals in a series that Lebron desperately needed help and gets a max offer contract.. Only in the often idiotic world of pro sports is something like that possible..
It's called symbolism over substance and it is pervasive & corrosive.
The guy is so ing soft it is ridiculous. For Dwayne Wade to be that ineffective in the finals and bosh is still hanging back shooting the occasional jumper not demanding the basketball refusing to engage in the offense as his team is getting blown out it's ing pathetic beyond belief. I have never liked bosh as a player.. It's amazing to me there are still those in the league overrating him to this degree.
It's difficult to switch gears 3/4 of the way thru the playoffs. It's what you've done for 100 games and you're consciously and subconsciously a willing slave to the protocol. You do not want to give the recipe up, the regimen because it has not failed you (in this case over almost 2 Junes). It's what happened to us in '91 against the Bulls. We needed to switch it out and have Scott bring it up, but, there was no way Magic was giving that ball up no matter what.
Black Twitter thirsting for attention as usual
Bosh would have to be a dumbass to turn down that offer. He will never get paid that much again as a player in the NBA.
Bosh only "considering" it after talking with the Kang? I don't want him in Houston, but that's some straight up gotry tbh. This is business - friendship. SMDH
I agree. Wade already got screwed over by listening to Lebron. No reason for Bosh to listen. He got his rings. He should take the money and join a really good team. No reason to take less money just to stay with Lebron at this point.
