I heard there was a European vacation... much deserved after the grueling 6-game regular season.

I thought Randle at #7 was a good pick... but as far as FA market goes, other than Gasol apparently interested in returning, not a whole lot more...

It was the only pick to be made, so good for them that they made the only choice. As for the FA market goes I'm not really high on Carmelo Anthony. If they somehow get Love that would make me more excited

It's supposed to be a move to attract free agents and trades? In a star-centered league (lol cba), being able to pick your desired coach as a star will help in your decision. But let's see...

Have you heard anything? I only heard Lakerfan salivating... not a single tweet or rumor about it. Did he even meet with the Lakers FO?

Honestly nothing but apparently LA is one of Melo's remaining top choices. New York, Chicago, LA... wow what a surprise, he's picking between big markets!

Lol I'm laughing if these salivating cucks get blocked by some team. I don't want Melo near LA at all. He's an 0'fer who will do nothing.

I like Love because even though he's a turnstile he can score and he can rebound. And he's a big, which Carmelo is not. You don't need to defend in the NBA until the playoffs come tbh

Not to mention, his foot is falling off, he hasn't made a jump shot since February and he's a turnover machine

After we swing and miss on Melo we sign IThomas, and maybe either ariza or Lance. We still suck, just barely miss playoffs but this time we end up with a top 3 pick. Oh, well.

    Outstanding acquisition...

Jordan Clarkson waited on draft night. And waited. And waited.

Projected by many to be a late first-round draft pick, the point guard dropped into perilous territory for would-be NBA rookies -- the second round, the land of non-guaranteed contracts.

The Lakers, though, were happy to take him with the 46th overall pick, paying the Washington Wizards $1.8 million for their draft spot. The Lakers didn't have a second-round pick because of the Steve Nash trade...

cheap contract to pad the roster... although at the rate, this nig might be starting come opening night
