I think it's obvious.. being Leonard's Side kick is better*. Shaq was the most dominant player to play the game. Anyone else on his team could have put all star numbers up.

It was Horry that said, they could have been fine losing Kirby, because they Had B-shaw in the wings. Sums it up.

    Cheers

Nope. Jim has been riding s back for a loooooong time now. When is the last time he's been relevant in a finals? 2003? We all know Manu was robbed in 2005. Parker carried him into TOSB status in 2007. And Kiwi made him a role player in 2014. That Jim has been coat riding for ages.

It's better to be a sidekick at the age of 38 than at the age of 21-23.

When TD was that age, he was taking command of the league and winning Finals MVP.

At age 22 Kobe was averaging 29/6/5 and won his first back2back, and was by far the best player in the league. All while Jim was sitting on the ter watching Kobe lead his team to a 3-peat.

Of course he was a sidekick, E. We all saw it. Pop was smart not to put the team in Jim's hands... it would have been 6 all over again.

That's still better than getting outplayed by Austin Croshere in the finals. 55% FG compared to Kobe's 36%.

CN usually gets a hard on for these threads. I'm surprised with his absence.

Kobe turned 22 right after Shaq carried his sorry ass in 2000. Dude got outplayed by Croshere.

In 2001, while Shaq was busing putting up 33/16/5 shooting 57%, Kobe was bricking his ass to 24/8/6 shooting 41%.
