What a ty take tbh. Why does he have an agent in the first place?
Theoretically to represent his interests, but he clearly hired a snake who doesn't have his best interests at heart, tbh....

Bird can't do anything tbh, the price he gave Lance was right. Can't blame him that some idiot gm thinks Hayward deserves the max.
I agree Bird was in the right. But he can blame his colleagues for throwing pricing out of wack ...TBH Lakers would be wise to do nothing allow contracts to evaporate pay off their picks owed ... and bank that cap space for future big fish since we gave away picks like candy.

Dont get why anyone would want to see Cavs get burned Cleveland has watched Josh Gordon's demons take over, Jfootball partying like a frat boy ...would be sad to see their hopes crushed. I love Ariza but he is not a worthy consolation to the Kang.

What would be worse Cleveland's embarrassment if LeBron doesn't return home and they made all these moves? Or, Brazil's blitzkrieg yesterday? , both will keep this place in a uptick for weeks!

If so ... he is still BETA off the court. I blame Ariza's agent (some) why he left after 2009 ...but ultimately Trevor employs his agent not the other way around.

Let's not be naive. James has given his agent power to negotiate for him. People can't deflect any of this blame if the deal doesn't go down.
+ 1. There's too much at stake here, these are not autograph sessions or commercial spots where agents themselves can decide for their respective clients. I find it hard to believe Lebron has no clue or input in a decision this big.

Exactly. Everyone fighting over Melo, let me repeat MELO. James trolling either the Heat or Cavs. If he picks Cavs, the Heat fans will be looking like those Brazilian fans from yesterday. Hayward getting 15mil. Rockets dissing Lin and Parson and striking out on Melo. Bosh for the Max (REALLY).

, I could go on and on but this FA has been fun seeing teams literally begging at every corner while the Spurs are sipping their tea by the warm fireplace. Best offseason since the Spurs traded for Kawhi.

Cavs tried to move on and when they realized that they were a suck organization they basically opted to prep for his return. They didn't try to create any kind of iden y firing coach after coach.

Perhaps Cavs make this move knowing that if they whiff on Lebron, they will just go after another top FA or perhaps a couple of middle-tier FAs to put around their core.

If Cleveland's gamble doesn't pay off
It will be funny (in a twisted way) but even if he stays they have cleared cap space have Wiggins I dont see a bleak future either way. I doubt they get Love with no Lebron though. But if they draft well they will still be really good ...

    I
This. I dont get people saying Cle's fkd if they dont land Bron. They could just build around Kyrie, Waiters, Wiggins and contend in 3 years.
