I gave it my best shot, I saw about 4/5 games and came away thinking.......what a stupid boring ass game. Sure sure it takes skill to kick a ball around like they do but what sport doesn't take skill? I'm sure it's fun to play but like chess more fun to play than watch.
What got me was how they'd talk about the 'stars" but I never saw those "stars" standing out. If they hadn't told you so and so was the "star" you'd never know it.
I have seen my next to last soccer game, yep, will be watching Germany vs ??? Might as well finish this.

Why are this stupid cartoon talk half pint? When do you ever deal with real life? I own two 42 inch HD Samsungs. And...ya can Zoom, partial zoom, strecth, normal...honest ya can. It doesn't matter, the cameras are too far away in order to get most the field.

camera is fine, at least not like nfl...too many stoppages after a game play, makes no fkn sense....at least in rugby nrl/super there is no stoppage after a tackle, u get up start the next play straight away...

Over here in the USA we have a ton of teams to choose from as ...our...team. It's pretty obvious that isn't the case in Brazil. So their soccer team is a really really big deal as we saw. I have no doubts it does take a good few days to get back to normal over a soccer game in Brazil. Obviously, all us Americans are bummed for the rest the day, maybe before the next morings coffee then ..our...team losing is forgotten.
There was a real Willie Brown, he hung out with Charley Patton and Son House. He like those two was a big influense on the younger Robert Johnson. Shame that for some reason or another Willie only recored one record, that is unless ya believe he was also Kid Bailey, which he could have been, but that would only give him two records.

I did watch 4 games from the beginning to end........had to be woke up numerous times. Ya see once anyone scores 2 goals the game is over or nobody scores at all and we see the oh so exciting....penalty kick, hahaha!!!!!!! Are you kidding me?
Dude, I hate to break it to ya like this but watching a ball kicked around for 90 or so minutes really isn't all that exciting or interesting. Now watching a 220 pound running back break a couple tackles, then out run a 4.4 cornerback is very exciting.
Soccer sucks and only countries where they have little else excell at it.
