He cannot create for himself. He is more of a catch and shoot player. He is a good passer though.
He isn't great at creating for himself, but he can get his own shot up. Ever since he's gotten his little pump fake thing he's been able to drive to the basket pretty aggressively or nail the pull up jumper. I could be wrong though, we'll see if the rockets match or if he ends up doing well in Dallas also.

It is meaningless unless the cap outpaces his salary increases. Normally, a trade kicker deters teams, but in this case, it doesn't.

If Parsons didn't have the kicker, he would be no easier to move. That's not quite the case with Hayward, as he will be eligible for part of his kicker after his second year.
You dont know that. The real "kicker" could come into play in 2017, the last year of his contract, considering we don't know what the cap will be 3 years from now, that's a bold claim. Cap could see a dramatic increase for all we know. That less than 1% percent could balloon to a higher figure. Everything is possible in theory when it comes to caps.

The kicker can impede any potential deals that includes Parsons when his contract is up is what i'm saying, sure you can say its "meaningless" right now, given the cap scenario but you cant tell me whats the cap projection in a few years.

Rockets should of just picked up his option for the upcoming season for under a million. Now they screwed themselves out of a better team with a high FA signing.

So long as Parsons is traded before his final year, then it wouldn't matter. Even if he is traded in his final year, the cap would have to be at about $73 Million for him to see any money at all. If the cap jumps up enough for it to really matter, then his salary won't look all that bad. Remember, he'd still be making no more than players drafted in 2013 could make. Leonard, Irving, George, Davis and Wall will still be making more than Parsons.

Most players in short deals aren't traded immediately. The leverage will always be in Parsons side. The biggest issue is handicapping any trade scenarios when the cap balloons into a larger figure which is surely going to take place, question of course is how much. It's not about just how much Parsons will pocket in this trade clause but how it may present another challenge for Morey assuming he matches the deal.

Luckily for him, the deal ends in time before the next CBA meeting (2017)

It's not a clause he can waive. Parsons has no power.

Did I said he can waive it? No one can waive it actually if you want to be specific about it.

So if the Rockets have Howard at $21.4M, Harden at 14.7, sign Bosh starting at 20.6 (that's his max, right?) and match Parsons for 14.7 (I'm getting numbers of $14.673M/15.333/15.994 to make $46M over 3 years with 4.5% raises), that's 71.4 for just those 4 players. Even minimum salaries for the rest of the roster put them at or just over the tax. Do the Rockets care about the tax?

They want to match, but they need to secure Bosh first. Critical time for Morey since they only have a few days to move and sign Parsons.

Them being assisted isn't a bad thing, if anything its exactly what our team needed. Anymore unassisted field goals and we'd have the iso matches of the century. That also doesn't mean he can't create his own shot, we've seen him do it. He may not be as good as James, but few are.

Wow, that is a lot of money for Parsons. The only logical explanation is that Cuban is just trying to with Houston. Otherwise, he has lost his mind.
