He's single-handedly shut down the sports world as we await his decision. And I'm sure he's enjoying every second of it. The ego on this guy has to be otherworldly tbh.
Creating more buzz and hype for the NBA than ever, tbh..
He has single-handedly boosted the ratings for the NBA Finals the past 4 years, and now he's the mastermind behind the most interesting and discussed off-season in the history of sports..his decision is literally affecting the landscape of the entire league, as Carmelo, Bosh, the Rockets franchise, Gasol, Mavs-Parsons, Ariza, Deng and every big-name FA or interested team is waiting for Lebron's decision to shape their entire franchise..
The subliminal messages, the Instagram pictures, the website trickery, the moving trucks, etc.. ing genius..
Every single NBA fan is obsessing over every single tweet and report, despite the fact that 99% of them are false and incorrect in every way..

Speculating here (local ESPN affiliate) 98.7---that he's going back to Cleveland because The Gilbs is going to cut James in on ownership.
Please continue trolling until Sunday at 3pm, king...
He'll probably just sign a 2yr deal in Cleveland just so he can do this all over again in 2 yrs
lol HH, bending over backward to find new, Mia Malkova-like ways to suck off LBJ.
s are tweeting about Lebron's entourage calling the Cleveland police
This is unprecedented, tbh..
The Great Satan is a dumbass if he doesn't go back to the Cavs. He's already implied that he would go back there and now if he doesn't there will be even more of a backlash against him nationally. He's going to destroy his popularity even more than he did in 2010. This another reason why God is superior to the Great Satan is because God never has had incompetent handlers handling his business matters.
Lebron hasn't implied anything, he hasn't even said a word..
This "backlash" talk is from idiots that believe "reports" from sources that aren't credible..
LeBron James won't be making an announcement in three minutes, or the next hour, for that matter, I'm told.

Lebron's decision will come Friday or Saturday, prior to the World Cup, tbh..he'll be leaving to attend the World Cup on Sunday morning or Saturday night..
If he has any interest in watching the 3rd place game, he needs to leave tomorrow morning. He can't leave Saturday night or Sunday morning and be able to attend the Final, since a flight from Vegas to Rio is 12-15 hours.
He'll make his decision tonight. I'm sorry, he's going back to Cleveland....
What? The game is at 3 Sunday and a flight from Vegas is 15 hours minimum.
Or, no one cares anymore.
Free agency is the NBAs World Cup
But unless you watch ESPN, you aren't aware it's occuring. And based on ESPN's nose dive in ratings (Down 32%) hardly any people are.
I dont get how someone so unselfish and considerate on the court can be so unaware and self-absorbed off it. But Harlem is right about one thing ... from a brand/buzz standpoint he and his flunkies are genius.
Agree, this is a case study in buzz marketing. Better than what most companies or movies put together to build hype around their products. I'm not a huge fan of the narcissism of some of these athletes, but this really should be an HBR case study.
I don't really think it's lebron's ego at all..I think he is truly torn between Miami and Cleveland. It's not his fault he's the best player in the NBA and that teams are waiting on him. Plenty of FA's do this, but he's the one that gets for it.
ESPN = E network?
TMZ with a bit of sports highlights on the side
And this leads me to believe he's going to Cleveland. His brand worth will skyrocket with the "Return of the King" storyline and all that bull , making him not only a "hero" in Cleveland, but everywhere in the US aside from Miami. The Cavs become everyone's 2nd favorite team overnight. I'm not sure what kind of hit his image takes if he re-signs with Miami after "he strung Cleveland along" (doesn't matter if that's true or not, whose fault it really is, that'll be the perception).
I have no dog in this fight. I'd rather he return to Miami, since Bosh in Houston is scary from a Spurfan perspective. I just want this sucker to make a decision so fatass Melo can confirm his going to New York and the Spurs will know if they can get Gasol or not, since Gasol is waiting on a potential Melo to LA deal.
He's the GOAT at generating hype, but he's cornered himself tbh. If he returns to MIA and doesn't go back to Cleveland it will be like this X100
Also funny how "shutting down the sports world" coincides with the most boring few months in American sports. If he made his decision during the WC final the majority of sports fans in the world wouldn't give a .
