Why would I go see a therapist over basketball? I simply moved on from feeling bad about losing the championship.

The championships just make me more proud to be a Spurs fan and will affect how I treasure the memories of this era of Spurs basketball. If anything, it was losing the championship last year that allowed me to take a step back from the sports world and realize that these games we watch don't affect our lives at all, and any pain we experience from losing is avoidable if you just change the way you think about it. I'm not trying to say losing is okay or doesn't suck by any means, just saying that feeling bad doesn't have to mean you're hurting.

Sports are a great hobby. Being a fan is a great privilege. But saying you "need" a championship to "complete" you is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Plenty of fans don't even get to experience one, and here you are saying five les isn't enough and you need another one. Shut up and go outside, Fabbs.

I promised myself before the playoffs of 2013 that Id die happy as a spur fan if we just managed to win 1 more. Alas after 2 yrs we did, we got 5. I thought that was enough but no, honestly the human insticts wont let us feel completed, we will always ask for more, we will always look for that repeat.

Yea, I predict a 4-12 season...barring a fluke couple of games here and there, 8-8 at best. I'm not even going to get too into the games. It's not good for the health tbh.
